Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

[Clinic A] Review

This surgery partially cuts the lateral canthal tendon and fixes it to the periosteum. The lateral canthal tendon is important for keeping the eyelids closely attached to the eyeball and allowing the outer corners of the eyes to move freely, but this procedure cuts it and firmly fixes it to the periosteum. As a result, my eye movements became unnatural and I felt discomfort. When I squeezed my eyes shut or sneezed, it pulled and hurt, and even when I stayed still, the headache, pulling, and feeling of fixation were severe. It has been over a year, but it still bothers me. I have to live with a thread connecting the outer corner of my eye to the periosteum for life. They say I have to pay if I want it removed. They would have to cut the tissue again, so there would be another scar… Sensitive people may be better off not getting this. The incision is about 1 cm, but the scar is fairly large and remained white. It shows. It turns red when I drink alcohol. If you don’t want a facial scar, I don’t think you should do it. They say the length cannot be adjusted because it is fixed to the periosteum, but the right and left lengths are different. Since the method connects it all the way to the end of the periosteum, the outer corners lift and it is obvious that I had lateral canthoplasty. If you want a natural look, I don’t think you should do it. The eye ends are lifted and the red tissue is exposed, so my eyes became bloodshot and severe dry eye developed. I had chemosis for about two months? It didn’t disappear, so I couldn’t wear contacts, and even now I can barely wear them because I’m worried about my eye health. Recovery took an extremely long time. People who wear contacts may be better off not getting it. When I smile, the outer corners wrinkle and my aegyo-sal is interrupted… This is the saddest part. My eyes definitely became bigger, but they don’t feel like they are within a normal range.. If you want a natural result and dislike an operated look, I don’t think you should do it. Instead of naturally enlarging from my original face, I was confronted with a new face and felt bewildered.. I want to go back to before I had this surgery. This is the first time I have created something in my life that I regret this much. I can’t go back, so I’m living as if I had been in a traffic accident. The biggest, most unprecedented, single mistake of my life.
