I am most satisfied that my impression and facial proportions changed naturally after cheekbone surgery. The symmetry is good, and my lateral cheekbones look less prominent. My face looks narrower when viewed from the front. I was worried that doing only the cheekbones might look odd, but fortunately the design was adjusted to my proportions and only the angular impression was improved. Looking at the before-and-after photos, I keep realizing how subtly prominent bones can make an impression look strong. Since the front, 45-degree, and side views connect naturally overall, I look softer. I said I did not want it to look too obvious, and fortunately people around me have said that my impression seems different or asked if I lost weight, so I am satisfied. The weather has been nice lately and I have many chances to take photos. Selfies are nice, but I especially like that my face looks less broad in photos taken by others. Even when tying my hair, I used to be busy pulling down stray hairs at the sides, and losing that inconvenience has improved my quality of life quite a bit. I think it had been a subtle source of stress.
