After surgery, the right side of my nasal bridge looked shadowed. My surgeon said the silicone implant had shifted to the right. Because of the columella deviation, when viewed from below, one nostril looks narrower. It’s not extremely severe, but when I take front-facing photos, I can see the silicone shadow and that it’s shifted to the right, so when I brought it up, they said they could do an aftercare revision if I wanted.
Could I ask for valuable opinions from anyone who has had surgery among the 3 options below?
1. Move only the silicone implant position (nostril incision, not open surgery) 2. Full revision with an open approach (reuse septal cartilage and ear cartilage) 3. Do not recommend revision
I originally have facial asymmetry and my face is not level, so I’m deeply worried it might happen again even if I have a revision. I also saw posts saying to be cautious about revision surgery done for shape, so after worrying about it alone for 2 months, I’m posting this..
