Hello, I’m a 26-year-old man.
In January 2019, for my first surgery, I used autologous dermis to raise my nasal bridge and nasal tip, and I had osteotomy for my wide nasal bones.
For 3 to 4 months after surgery, I was satisfied, but from 6 months onward, the height rapidly decreased, and after about 8 months it was almost as if it was gone. The nasal tip was relatively less absorbed.
What I disliked most was my wide nasal bones. My nose was not on the high side, but my biggest stress was that my nasal bones were wide. So I had osteotomy, but they are still wide and asymmetrical. Actually, they were so wide to begin with that it is true the current shape is better than before.
But it is not the shape I wanted, and since my nose became higher and then lower again, I didn’t feel good about it. The thing that bothers me most is that it cost too much money. If I had used silicone, I would have saved twice as much.. At one point, the financial aspect was really stressful. Because it was expensive
Autologous dermis is good. Even if it takes an impact somewhere, it’s okay, and I don’t really have to worry about it. I also wear glasses. Still, since it’s not the shape I wanted, I’m not happy with it. I think it would have been enough to use it later for a revision surgery if I ever needed one.
So these days I’m looking into having it done again. I’m asking friends about hospitals and planning to get consultations too. I don’t have any mosaic-processed photos, so I’ll skip the photos.
I’m planning to redo it with silicone, but since I’m worried about side effects again, it’s really
