I had a consultation for rhinoplasty. What I wanted was: my nose looks pretty from the side, but the tip is a little low, so I wanted to refine just the nasal tip and the hump a bit. The bridge is already on the higher side, so I wanted to keep this height. Most importantly, from the front, my nasal bones look wide and bell-shaped, so although my bridge isn’t thin, I wanted the boundaries of the nasal bridge to look a bit more clearly defined.
The clinic told me that I have a slight hump and a slightly bulbous nose, and that I have quite a lot of fatty tissue, so even if they correct that, there probably won’t be a dramatic change. They said my nose is on the higher side, but my forehead and cheekbones are also high, and overall my face has quite pronounced dimension, so even if it’s raised just a little more, it would probably still look natural. They also said raising it would be the best way to correct the issue of making the nasal bridge look more defined.
That’s what they told me, so I’m really debating whether or not to raise it. For now, they said the correction would be done with septal cartilage and that they would raise it just a little using filler. Would it be better to raise it first and remove the filler later, or to do the surgery first and add filler later?
