I started going around for consultations back in September, but the surgery was only recent. I kept hesitating and in the end a lot of time passed. I think I went to about 4 well-known clinics for facial contouring consultations, and I had the surgery at the one whose before-and-after photos were most my style + whose doctor gave the most detailed consultation. I fought with my mom several times and only barely got her approval, so when I had the surgery, it was also important whether the guardian could watch the CCTV.. my mom waited while watching the CCTV during my surgery. Originally I was planning to do 3 facial contouring procedures, but the doctor didn’t particularly recommend it.. and said cheekbones only would probably be better, so I gave up on my jaw regrets.
Honestly, on the day of surgery I was dazed and not thinking about anything. I was so scared and kept thinking what if something goes wrong? I was trembling so much.. I changed clothes and followed the coordinator’s instructions in a daze, and before I knew it I was on the operating bed.. They inserted the IV, I saw the anesthesiologist, counted numbers, and when I woke up the surgery was over..
For the first few hours I was thirsty, my throat hurt, it was hard, and my mouth and cheekbones were throbbing too, but by the time I got off work it was manageable. I was supposed not to sleep after waking up, but I was so exhausted that I just slept. They said I could eat something like porridge after work, but I had no appetite so I didn’t eat anythingㅠㅠ But then it becomes hard to take the medicine.. so it’s important to eat something, anything. From the next day on, I mostly ate warm and soft foods.. lots of bread, broth, porridge, and so on. I went back to the hospital a few more times for treatment, and for the first three days I had some yellow bruising on my face. It’s been exactly about a week now. The swelling is still very puffy, and I still can’t eat completely freely. Still, I can see that the line has become a lot softer, so I keep looking in the mirror. For comparison of the line, I took photos with the regular camera from the same front 45-degree angle. I’m looking forward to it becoming even slimmer once the swelling goes down more
