I have a low nasal bridge and a bulbous nose. My nasal tip is on the higher side. For my eyes, I definitely had double-eyelid surgery 5 years ago.
ㅁㄹ Consultant -> Doctor -> Consultant It was my first consultation, but somehow they didn’t say much. I went through an acquaintance’s recommendation, and they said they would put some kind of implant in the nasal tip, but didn’t explain it properly… When I asked, it felt like they vaguely brushed it off? They said I would get prettier if I raised the glabella area and redid the double-eyelid surgery, and kept repeating only that it would turn out well. They said they wouldn’t touch the nostril wings, and would do a nasal tip implant, silicone in the nasal bridge, and incisional double-eyelid surgery for the eyes, all for 5 million won. It seemed like a big acquaintance discount was applied…?
ㄷㄷㅇ ㅓㅗㅓ Consultant -> Eye doctor -> Nose doctor -> Consultant I had heard the wait was long, but they gave consultations right away one after another. When I said I wanted lateral canthoplasty, they said I could do it, but the effect would not be very significant. Since it was revision eye surgery, they said non-incisional surgery was possible using the existing line. Before the consultation, the nose doctor drew on my side-profile photo and planned the line. I wanted something natural, but the doctor described it as naturally glamorous, and when I saw what they drew, by my standards it was high and flashy. They told me to choose autologous costal cartilage or donated costal cartilage for the nasal tip, and said silicone for the bridge and not to touch the nostril wings.
ㄸㅋ Consultant -> Nose doctor -> Eye doctor -> Consultant They took photos and a CT scan, but there was no consultation fee. They said to put 4-5 mm of silicone in the nasal bridge, there was no need to touch the nasal tip, and to do bulbous nose correction with nostril wing reduction. They directly showed me silicone suited to my nose and placed 4 mm and 5 mm on it for me to see. I wanted it as natural as possible, so I said I wanted 4 mm, but they recommended 5 mm. Also, I hadn’t prepared photos, but they said surgery is done while looking at the nose photos I bring and photos of noses I really dislike, so they told me to prepare them. They said double-eyelid surgery should be incisional and that I need ptosis correction. But they said because the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is narrow, if I only do double-eyelid surgery, the eyelid skin will protrude and won’t look pretty. So they said it would improve if I did a forehead lift, but they didn’t really force it and only recommended it. They said my current double-eyelid line is high, so my eye-opening strength is insufficient and I have ptosis. So they suggested lowering the line a bit. They didn’t recommend lateral canthoplasty right now, and said if I still want it later after double-eyelid surgery, I can do it then. Eyes and nose together came out to about 8.5 million won..
