I said I’d write a review and then forgot, but I figured high school seniors who just finished the CSAT might be thinking about it, so I’m writing it now haha
I had the surgery in early March, so it’s been about 10 months now! The price was 900,000 for buried-suture double eyelid surgery + 100,000 for fat removal. I did it under local anesthesia, and I remember it just feeling slightly sore when the fat was removed, but it didn’t hurt. At first, the swelling was really severe for buried-suture surgery, and the area where fat was removed from my left eye kind of burst once, I guess…? It swelled a lot and I could see a bloody bruise on my eyeball, so I went back to the clinic one more time, but they said there was no particular problem, so I was seriously suspicious… I changed phones, so I don’t have photos from that time.
I think it started looking decent from around month 2, and honestly, even until month 3 it was still somewhat noticeable…ㅎ If you’re going to do it before entering college, schedule it as early as possible!!
Whether I recommend the clinic: If there’s a difference from other places, the director personally does all the consultation and explanation. They show you actual surgery photos, not edited before-and-afters, and explain the difference between buried-suture and incisional methods well using things like papers, so it’s good to go with your parents. The price also has no promotion, review discount, or cash price at all, just fixed pricing… They don’t separately push unnecessary procedures and really only look at the eyes. If you like these points and want a natural look, go for it. I don’t think you necessarily need to go all the way to Seoul for double eyelid surgery.
