I had lingual orthodontic treatment (wires attached to the inside of the teeth) a year ago! I had 2 upper teeth extracted, but strangely, it didn’t hurt at all for me, so right after they were pulled, I walked 20 minutes home by myself lolololol that’s how it was. For my lower teeth, I didn’t do lingual orthodontics, just regular braces, but unless I told people I had braces, no one could tell at all! But since the appliance is attached to the inside of the mouth, my tongue often got rubbed, and when the wire at the end wasn’t properly trimmed, my tongue got all torn up and ragged...ㅠㅠ It was uncomfortable for 2 years, it hurt every time the wire was tightened, and I couldn’t eat well, but I’m so satisfied!
