It’s already been 8 years, but I had double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction together with a partial-incision method. From the start, I didn’t like it looking obvious, so I asked them to make the line small, and it really did not look obvious at all. The double eyelid felt a little low, but even when I closed my eyes there was no scar and it looked so natural that nobody could tell I had it done. But before even a full year had passed, it came undoneㅠㅠ So I went back to the doctor who did the surgery, and while looking at my eyes, he asked in surprise whether it was really done by incision because it didn’t look obvious at all. Was he admiring his own technique? heh Then he said he would do an AS revision, so while I was at it I asked him to raise the line just a little, and I ended up lying back on the operating table. But the funny thing is, while raising the line, on the side that had come undone he made the double eyelid line from beginning to end, but for the eye that had not come undone, even though he operated on it too to raise the line, he left the original double eyelid line as it was and only created a double eyelid line at the inner front of the eye, making the line end in the middle of the eye.. In the end, the double eyelid line on one eye didn’t continue to the outer edge of the eye but got cut in half at the centerㅋㅋㅋ That was already 8 years ago. Honestly there wasn’t a huge problem, so I’ve just lived with it, but the eye with only half a line didn’t get good ptosis correction, so I’m looking for a revision surgery clinicㅋㅋㅋ What I learned from this is that you really shouldn’t go in knowing absolutely nothing. Back then I was too young, so even when the doctor said he would do it that way, I just went, “Ah, yesㅎ,” but starting about two years after surgery it kept bothering me so much. After going back and forth over whether to redo it, I’m going for revision surgeryㅎ Everyone, please look into things carefully before surgeryㅠㅠ Maybe the doctor was angry because I asked him to redo it, because he tied my eye so tightly that when I close my eyes, the line doesn’t stretch out smoothly; the double eyelid line stays foldedㅠㅠ Anyway, I hope the revision surgery goes well.
