Before breast surgery, I was seriously worried because of the recovery period.. but I recovered faster than expected! I’m writing this early because I don’t think there’s a need to be scared before surgery.. I was really terrified and instead of taking 3 days of annual leave, I took 5 days and rested almost a week, but I feel like I didn’t need to. They say this also varies by person and incision site, but I had an inframammary fold incision at Glam! My stamina was already on the weaker side, but it was only a bit hard when getting my body up (so I guess that’s why everyone says to buy a zero-gravity chair or triangular cushion) and everything else was okay. My appetite came back a lot too, and since I had surgery during my time off, I kept saying I needed to eat well(?) and ate like crazy ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ When I saw the flesh around my belly puff up, whether it was abdominal swelling or belly fat, I was like, gasp;; but.. now it’s all back to normal, and I’m loosening up with stretching and light cardio! As for the feel, the swelling hasn’t fully gone down yet, so it feels firm and has a heavy, not-yet-softened feeling, but I think time will fix it, so I’m going to watch it until the 3-month mark. When I read reviews from people who had surgery with Motiva, most said it felt a bit dense and heavy at first and later softened, so I’m hanging in there tooㅋㅋㅋ
Also, the hospital where I had surgery gives you a compression bra they made separately, and they said it’s a bra that gathers more than the existing compression bras. Maybe that’s why it feels like my breasts aren’t spreading outward and are being gathered inward..?! I’m still wearing it, and since everyone talks so much about compression bras being uncomfortable, I was a bit worried.. But it’s less uncomfortable than I expected! According to the consultant, the existing ones have slightly narrow shoulder areas and lack a bit in the gathering function, so this one was made to improve those parts. It supports the inframammary fold too, and they put functional fabric? on both sides of the breasts, so they said it should gather inward much better. They also said the shoulder area was made wider, so it’s more comfortable than the old one. Maybe because of that, even while wearing the compression bra, I didn’t really.. feel like it was too hard or uncomfortable. It also didn’t show under clothes, which was so nice. When I read other people’s reviews, their compression bras had something in the middle, but mine has nothing bothersome in the middle! So it gives more of a gathered feeling? I liked that.. That was a part I was personally satisfied with.. Still, I do want to take off the compression bra ㅋㅎ When I go for my 1-month follow-up this time, the hospital will probably tell me whether I need to keep wearing it or can take it off, so I’ll pray> <...
Oh, and everyone who specifically searches by female director or male director!! Don’t do that; absolutely look mainly at experience.. I’m not saying this because I had mine done by a male doctor, but seriously, I mean don’t go to a less-experienced female doctor just because of gender.. I think looking at both experience and surgical skill is the right thing in cosmetic surgery. Sometimes I see posts where people look for a female director and intentionally only consider that, so I’m writing this out of concern.
You know skill is the most important thing for anything, right?? Everyone, keep that in mind...!!
