You can just think of it as a factory-style clinic. For the Vbeam laser, there was no need to apply numbing cream; the procedure started right away and ended quickly. I have only received Vbeam, but for Vbeam specifically, I think it is cost-effective and decent. After getting it 2 to 3 times, I definitely felt that the redness had decreased.
