I went through a lot of emotional distress after double eyelid surgery, lower canthoplasty, and epicanthoplasty. The lines didn’t match, the canthoplasty was uneven, and the swelling was extremely severe. In the end, a year later, I had everything undone elsewhere and had it redone properly, so I survived. The consultant said she didn’t know well because she wasn’t the one who had consulted me, and the doctor said sorry but didn’t give me a refund. When I think about the emotional distress I went through then, it’s still painful.
