Before and after lower blepharoplasty and under-eye fat repositioning surgery, two-month review
After about a month passed, I couldn’t find any scarring at all.
After lower blepharoplasty, the sagging skin was excised,
so there are no fine wrinkles under my eyes. I had heard that the original fine wrinkles would still remain somewhat,
but my under-eye area became clean.
The area under my eyes where the fat was repositioned feels like there is very slight, subtle swelling,
but it is only noticeable if you compare it with the preoperative photos,
and the feeling of swelling that is tight enough to burst seems to disappear completely by the one-month mark.
Rather than pain, there is a slightly itchy feeling under the eyes.
By around two months, it is almost unnoticeable!
As for the recovery period, I think you can say that after surgery,
it is more or less over after about two months.
I am currently at two months, and as the under-eye swelling has gone down to some extent and the skin texture has softened,
my under-eye area feels brighter. After lower blepharoplasty, I spend more time looking in the mirror too.
The top is before surgery, and the bottom is now, two months after surgery.
The under-eye area looks a bit less prominent. Still, the protruding bulge was on the severe side,
so they said there was a lot of skin to excise and that the fat had sagged, but they said the progress would likely be good~
They said my skin elasticity was good, so recovery would be fast. I’m not sure if this is a surgery with a short recovery period,
but I think after about 2 weeks is when it looked the best! In my case, for lower blepharoplasty swelling,
I started daily life right after getting the stitches removed.
That’s how little the swelling stood out. Rather, because the stitches were there, it looked like I had surgery,
but swelling or bruising under the eyes did not occur significantly!
