My freckles were severe, so instead of Pico toning, I always get PicoSpot targeting the dermal layer. Since the doctor performing the procedure is random, it has been a different doctor each time, but they always used a gentle intensity. However, one female doctor treated me very strongly, so a lot of scabs formed and they all peeled off, but it did leave some patchiness. Still, patchiness is easier to cover than a dotted-dot-dot kind of look, so I like it. I recommend PicoSpot.
