Eye Re-Surgery@eye-redo

Finally escaped revision surgery life ㅠㅠ settled on a semi-out line

Before<Before>AfterAfterAfter<After>First, to talk about my revision surgery timeline, this wasn’t my second time, but already my third revision surgery.. haha.. For the first double-eyelid surgery, honestly, a lot of people get it done, so I thought it would be okay to just have it at a local clinic, right? So I got <buried suture + epicanthoplasty> at a local clinic and it failed.. I thought, I guess plastic surgery really is Gangnam after all haha.. so for the revision, I got <natural adhesion + ptosis correction> in the Gangnam area, but the front of my right eye looked like it was about to come undone, the line looked faint, and even though I wasn’t tired, it completely came loose. Since I didn’t like the line anyway, I thought I should get a revision to raise the line into a semi-out style~ so I ended up having double-eyelid surgery for the third time.

Honestly, after getting only double-eyelid surgery several times, I realized it. Double-eyelid surgery really, really shouldn’t be done at just any clinic. Even setting one line needs to be done while preserving the characteristics of my eye shape, and even with canthoplasty, I newly realized through this re-revision that they need to examine every detail of my eye structure before doing it. This time I got <natural adhesion + upper canthoplasty>, and since it was my third surgery, I was sure it would be incisional this time, right? But the director said my skin is thin and my line fixation isn’t very strong, so natural adhesion would be enough. And to create a semi-out line and make the eyes look more open, they said it would be best to raise the height by about 1 mm with upper canthoplasty during surgery. Because the explanation was really detailed and clear, I could understand, oh, this is how the surgery is done, and I could get a sense of how my eyes would change if the surgery was done this way, which I liked!

When looking through this community, I saw many people who were devastated because they were having a revision, or even a re-revision ㅠㅠ But I also feel like it was only on my third surgery that I finally found a double eyelid that really suits my eyes. It’s really unfortunate that I couldn’t find a good clinic and have surgery there from the start, but I’m writing this review in the hope that even now, everyone will do good legwork and get the eyes they want! There’s no such thing as an absolute in any cosmetic surgery~! I also had my revision with natural adhesion haha It’s the end of the year, and I hope everyone stays strong!
