Since about 2 years ago, I searched online and visited clinics in person, and after thinking a lot about rhinoplasty itself, I’m now on day 17! Even 2 years ago, this was the first place I went for a consultation, and because it matched best with the direction I had in mind for rhinoplasty, I eventually had another consultation there and got the surgery. Of course, the price was the same as during the first consultation. (Nasal bridge fascia + nasal tip fascia/ear cartilage + shaving down a little asymmetry?)
During surgery, I listened to IU songs.. Afterward, my throat was scratchy because of the medication, so I rested while eating the Melona they gave me. The bed was really warm and nice.. hahaha Actually, I ate well even right after surgery, but I also diligently ate the pumpkin porridge and chocolate they gave me.. Removing the stitches and splint didn’t hurt either. Ah, removing the tape attached to my ear hurt the most because my hair got pulled with it..
For the nose shape, I think it’s exactly the line they show you in the photos when you go for a consultation. (Slightly upturned to straight-slightly upturned; I think this depends on your own nasal bridge.) I had almost no nasal bridge, so other clinics said silicone was essential, but when I said I wanted to do it without silicone as much as possible, they immediately said okay. (This was also the biggest reason I chose this clinic.)
When the splint was first removed, the nurse told me not to be too shocked and said this is when the nose looks the biggest hahahaㅠㅠ and that was really true.. My family also kept saying, “The nasal tip is going to come down, right?..” and I was worried about the awkward nasal tip and the glabella area that looked like Avatar enough to appear in my dreams, but after even the internal stitches were removed, the swelling started going down quickly and it’s becoming more natural. If it becomes too natural, I feel like I’ll be disappointed again.. People’s minds are really..ㅎㅅㅎ...
The fascia on the nasal bridge seems to get absorbed almost entirely, though absorption differs from person to person ㅠㅠㅎㅎ Right now, after the swelling has gone down, an appropriate amount? is still left, so I’m finding it fascinating.. hahaha I thought about my previous nasal bridge too, and maybe that line would be prettier??? I keep imagining every kind of line from just one nose..
Anyway, this is a clinic I also learned about here, and they don’t advertise? (judging from the clinic atmosphere, it really seems like they don’t), and reviews are hard to find? So if I got nose surgery, I wanted to post about it, so I wrote this, even if briefly.
For those thinking about nose surgery, take it easy mentally, think about the direction you want, and go to consultations at several places! Then there will probably be a place where you think, ah, this place matches me the best! That’s it for the review~~ I hope the swelling goes down quickly
