It only really showed in photos, and in real life it didn’t bother me that much, so people around me often asked why I was getting under-eye fat repositioning..
But cosmetic surgery is something you do if you personally don’t like something, right? If it bothers me, what can I do?
Anyway, so
I kept going around for consultations from before (I think I went to about four clinics), and I liked how confidently the director here spoke, so I ended up getting under-eye fat repositioning + fat grafting (because my under-eye area was hollow).
I thought the difficulty level would be about the same as double-eyelid surgery, but it was a bigger surgery than I expected????
I bruised a lot and my face swelled up massively. I couldn’t do anything except go for walks. Like right after rhinoplasty... I was just in monster mode. My nickname back then was walrus.
But after I got the swelling laser treatment twice here (free), the swelling started going down really quickly. I don’t know how a laser that reduces swelling works, but it went down so fast that it was fascinating..
So after about 10 days? after surgery, I went from walrus back to human.. Once I could wear contact lenses, I was completely able to go back to daily life.
Anyway, I didn’t really know this, but doing under-eye fat repositioning doesn’t automatically make aegyo-sal puff up. It depends on the aegyo-sal pocket you naturally have. I barely have any ㅋㅋ;
So my aegyo-sal didn’t suddenly puff up, and my under-eye area is just a bit more convex now.
The hollowing under my eyes, which bothered me the most, was corrected, and I feel like my tired-looking impression is gone, so I’m satisfied.
But I’m planning to get a fat grafting retouch (free). I really liked my face at the 1-month mark. Since I naturally have very little cheekbone volume, I want it to be a bit fullerㅋㅋ
When I was consulting about how much fat to put in before going into the operating room, I asked them to put in quite a lotㅋㅋㅋ but now that the swelling has gone down, it feels a bit flat, so I want more added.
The director actually said it probably wouldn’t be necessary to add more from here, but I think it might just be my own greed!! Still, what can I do about my greed..
Anyway, it’s not exactly what I imagined, but there’s nothing I can do about what’s realistically impossible, and with what I naturally had, I think I got the best possible result, so I’m satisfied!!!
