Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> Hello! I had natural adhesion double eyelid surgery two months ago, and I’m writing to share my experience. Since it was a surgery I decided on suddenly, I was very worried, but now I’m satisfied with the surgical result.
1. Concerns before surgery and preparation process
I originally had double eyelids, but they would often come undone, so I was very stressed. So I started looking up double eyelid reviews, and among them I saw reviews for Director Lee Hanbyeol at Iting Plastic Surgery, and they were the kind of eyes I wanted. So I decided on surgery in a hurry, contacted the clinic, and visited the clinic. The clinic interior was clean, which I liked, and I also liked the consultation with the doctor, so I had surgery right away in the style I wanted (a natural outline).
2. Surgery process
The surgery ended relatively quickly. Since it was my first eye surgery, I was very nervous, but it didn’t hurt at all, so I was surprised! After the surgery, I was in the recovery room doing an ice pack, and the doctor came to check my eyes and explain things, so I felt reassured.
3. First week after surgery
On the first day, the swelling was pretty severe. But as I worked hard on cold compresses and walking, I felt it getting better day by day. The swelling peaked for about the first 3 days, and after that it gradually subsided. Meanwhile, opening and closing my eyes felt a little awkward, but I got used to it quickly.
4. After week 2
After 2 weeks, a lot of the swelling went down, and a more natural line gradually started to show. People around me also praised it a lot, saying it looked natural and that I became prettier haha. I was especially so satisfied because my eye shape looked completely different when I wore makeup.
5. Final review after two months
It has now been a little over two months since surgery, and the swelling has gone down a lot and I think it’s becoming natural. The swelling is still continuing to go down, so I’m really looking forward to how my eyes will look after six months. At first, I worried a lot that the surgery might feel awkward, but now I’m so comfortable that I even forget I had surgery.
Tips! 1) When choosing a clinic, get enough consultation and clearly communicate the line you want. 2) Be thorough with post-surgery care! I think cold compresses and walking are essential. 3) Don’t be too impatient, and wait until the swelling goes down. As time passes, you’ll be more satisfied.
I hope this helps those who are 고민ing like I was.
