10 years ago, I only had my nasal bridge done with Gore-Tex, but as time passed, I became bothered by my low glabella and the arrow-shaped nose when I smile, so I had the Gore-Tex removed and had surgery on my nasal bridge and nasal tip using AlloDerm, donated costal cartilage, and ear cartilage. I also had a little fat grafting to my forehead, anterior cheeks, and nasolabial folds.
I got drowsy, slept really well, and woke up with the surgery finished. Sedation anesthesia was manageable, but now, 2 hours later, the tip of my nose hurts a little and the pain is starting, though it’s tolerable. I need to hurry up, eat, and take my medicine.
When I asked, “Will the nasal bridge come down?” The director’s confident tone saying, “It absolutely will not come down!!” was impressive. I’ll still have to watch the progress, but what’s really a whole new world about this hospital is that they don’t block the inside of the nose with cotton, so I can breathe through my nose, and it feels like I can live.
Starting with the manager, the operating room nurses were all so kind, explained things well, and I finished the surgery well in a comfortable atmosphere.
