Hello. It has been exactly 10 days since I had facial contouring surgery.
Wow~ First of all, the areas treated were the lower jaw/chin area and a slight square jaw, so I guess you could call it a mini V-line surgery that did not really touch the square jaw much. I have a slightly retruded chin-like long chin. The doctor said that contouring osteotomy and muscle tying would be enough to improve the retruded-chin appearance, so since I also felt resistant to having plates inserted and left inside me, I just decided to go with contouring osteotomy. But... but... I regretted it as soon as I had the surgery. Rather than pain, it was the discomfort, and I think I may not have thought it through enough.. I was also afraid whether the effect would come out as much as I expected.. After many ups and downs, I’m now on day 10, and I can still see the stitches here and there haha I’m sure others also go around to many consultations before surgery.. I went to 8 places too: 3 recommended three procedures, 3 recommended one procedure, and 1 recommended advancement surgery. Every doctor gives a different diagnosis. But what you personally need to consider carefully here is the change afterward. Please weigh carefully and decide whether the change will be effective with less surgery, rather than assuming that doing more will create more change.
