Before/after/after I had freckles since elementary school and had always thought I should get treatment for them. When I looked up reviews, there were so many options like IPL or laser toning ㅠㅠ I kept wondering what I should get, but since both IPL and laser toning supposedly require multiple sessions, I kept putting it off. I was almost half-giving up because I wasn’t confident I could diligently keep going, and I also didn’t have the financial leeway to pay for multiple sessions!! Then last year I thought, should I at least try removing my freckles? and searched lasers like crazy,, Reset laser? I saw one famous place too, but when I asked about booking... I could only get it like half a year later,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I also saw reviews about side effects from Ruby laser, so I thought maybe I just shouldn’t do it and gave up again.
I originally had no intention of getting a laser procedure in the summer because it’s not recommended, but then this month I had 5 days off work, so I thought, “Ah, should I really just try it once?” and made reservation inquiries at two places in Apgujeong!! One place was fully booked even a month out, and the other said consultation was possible, so I booked it thinking I’d at least get a consultation and went!
After I arrived, I had a consultation with the director, and I think it was over in less than 3 minutes. I live in the Chungcheong area, so it felt a bit much to go all the way to Seoul just for a consultation, so even though I thought same-day treatment would be impossible, I asked anyway. I asked, “Would treatment possibly be available today too?” and they readily said, “Yes~ of course, you can do it today too,” so I didn’t even think about it and went straight in for the procedure!
They applied numbing cream, I waited about an hour, then went into the laser room and the director zapped me mercilessly! After getting zapped, my face was seriously burning hot, so I went into the recovery room and they gave me an ice pack, which made me feel like I could survive for a little while, but in the middle it got so cold that I wanted to take it off, but thinking it would start burning again if I did, I endured it and stayed still. Then they told me I absolutely had to buy ointment before leaving, so I paid 5,000 won for it and went home~_~ The whole way home, my face was burning on top of the weather being hot, so it was hard, but thinking about having 5 days off work made my heart melt again^_^ For 5 days, I really stayed home without getting UV exposure, and today as I’m writing this is day 8! The first photo is before treatment, the second photo is the day of treatment! And the last photo is today, day 8 haha There are still scabs left, and it didn’t disappear super~~~ dramatically and perfectly cleanly, but isn’t this already really clean enough.. I’m so satisfied ㅠ_ㅠ Anyway, I got Ruby laser and I’m satisfied with it haha I hope all the scabs fall off quickly
