Director Oh Jung-seok was calm, the price was the same as on the app, the consultation was kind and thorough, and because it was a one-doctor clinic rather than a factory-style clinic, I trusted it more than other places, so I chose this hospital and had the surgery there. In terms of recovery, from around 2 months, the surgical scars had faded a lot and sensation had almost completely returned, so sometimes I’m in a state where I wonder whether I even had surgery. I definitely think cheekbone surgery would be highly satisfying for people who pursue natural-looking results or who have very prominent cheekbones. I absolutely wanted a natural look, so I’m satisfied. (If you like a more dramatic look, I think three-part facial contouring or the jaw area may be more suitable.) I can chew meat and raw fish without difficulty. Opening my mouth is not uncomfortable like it was right after surgery, and I can eat things like hamburgers without much difficulty. At week 3, I was slightly swollen, but now I think almost all the swelling has gone down. Most of all, I like that I no longer get stressed about my cheekbones no matter how I style my hair! Before, if I didn’t cover my side cheekbones, they looked a bit prominent, and even when I tied my hair up, my cheekbones showed a lot, but now my look doesn’t change much depending on hairstyle. I originally had front cheekbones, so the front cheekbones are still visible, but when viewed from the front, I feel like the side line has been refined, so I’m satisfied.
