After<Before surgery>After<10 days after surgery>After<1 month after surgery>After<3 months after surgery>After<4 months after surgery>After<4 months after surgery>First of all, I guess the whole plastic surgery field is like this, but it is an area more women than men seek out, and it is only natural that it is more specialized for women than men, but there is much less information for men than I expected. But actually, these days when you go to plastic surgery clinics, there are quite a lot of men too, so when I look at reviews, I wonder why there are only so many reviews from women.. Maybe there are fewer reviews because men find it annoying to post this kind of thing. I find it annoying too, but it was really hard when I was researching, so I’m posting this to help. (These days there are many reviews from men for eyes and noses, but there still aren’t many for facial contouring, so it was really hard.)
First, fortunately, my girlfriend is very interested in plastic surgery, so she helped me a lot. I also did a lot of research on my own, but I think more than 80% of it reflected my girlfriend’s opinion. She came with me to consultations too. To be honest, I was the type who thought it was fine as long as the surgery turned out natural and good, but my girlfriend paid a lot of attention to aftercare and post-treatment care. After searching through many places, I eventually chose one of the large clinics with a well-organized care process.
I requested that it look as unnoticeable as possible and not too feminine, and I think the surgery turned out naturally well. I had 3 types of facial contouring, and honestly, early recovery is hard... really hard. From right after surgery until one week later, it is so hard that you really cannot even eat, though there will be individual differences.
Until the 1-month mark, my side profile was slim, but the front view looked the same, so I worried a lot about that too. Later, I realized it was swelling. I liked working out, but I couldn’t exercise for a while, so that was a bit stressful too, but I think it won’t matter for people who don’t like exercising. Still, after having the surgery, I think doing a moderate amount of exercise also helps swelling go down faster.
It took about two to three months for all the swelling to go down and for my face to become very slim and sharp. Now there are no restrictions on eating, and my face has really been refined in a distinctly masculine way, so I’m satisfied. Even though it was really hard, I’m satisfied enough that if I could go back, I would decide to have the surgery again. As I wrote, the post got long.
