I'm not good at explaining everything all at once, so I'll make chapters and explain it
-Why I got surgery- Because of my naturally gentle-looking eyes, I often heard things like I looked mild or looked blank. Even when opening and closing my eyes normally, I would use my forehead muscles to open them, so I got tired easily, and I disliked looking blurry in photos, so I decided to get eye surgery
-What I wanted- Even so, I thought it would look strange if my eyes changed too drastically from their original look, so I went to a place known for doing natural-looking surgery well. When I wake up, my double eyelid forms like a crease, so I asked the director to make the line naturally like that. Since I don't really have an eye for plastic surgery, I visited several places with my wife, and my wife said this director seemed to create the most natural line and make my eyes clearer while keeping the monolid-like feeling I wanted, so I trusted my wife completely and even booked the surgery
-After surgery- I had incisional double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction together. When people around me heard I was getting double eyelid surgery, my guy friends were like..ㅋㅋ asking why I was getting double eyelid surgery and nagging me, but when they saw me exactly one week later, they were amazed and asked if I really had it done, saying I was recovering so fast (I was amazed too. I think it's thanks to the director carefully checking my progress). Since I no longer had to open my eyes with my forehead like before, I felt much less tired
-Satisfaction- Now that it's been one month, I'm so satisfied that I wonder why I hesitated before surgery. In the past, people would say, "Why would a man get cosmetic surgery?" but now I feel that someone who knows how to take care of himself to some extent looks cooler. Every time I went to the clinic, the consultant was also very kind, and above all, what helped me the most was that the director explained my eye structure from my perspective and talked through details like what needed to be done to keep the line from being excessive
-Notes- The stitches were removed on day 7, and for every follow-up, the director personally checked me. I heard that sometimes at large clinics, only a treatment staff member? checks you, but I don't think there's any need to pay a similar cost for that. I hope you all look for a private clinic or an eye-specialized clinic too
