[Reason for consultation] Hi, first of all, I had ㅇㅇㅂ Plastic Surgery near Gangnam Station in mind from the beginning and went for a consultation. A long time ago, I had double eyelid surgery and nose surgery, but for my eyes, I wanted double eyelid removal, and for my nose, I prefer a slightly straighter semi-curved line. So I searched what style each hospital tends to produce, looked through reviews, watched YouTube, and chose the hospital. I liked ㅇㅇㅂ’s natural-yet-defined nose style, so I went there. My first surgeries were all done at private clinics, and I thought 1:1 care might be safer, so rather than just the result, I wanted them to focus on me, but I was disappointed because care and results seem a bit different. So with the idea of entrusting it once to a large hospital that is more systematic and professionally systematized by area, I chose ㅇㅇㅂ Plastic Surgery.
[First impression of the clinic and consultation] First, my first impression of the clinic was that it was located near Gangnam Station, the building was grand, and it felt clean and brand-new. The very trendy exterior/interior was also really nice. The lobby staff varied case by case, from people who spoke while smiling to staff with a cold look in their eyes. Everyone may feel differently about this, but I kept feeling slightly intimidated by the fact that it was a large hospital, then relaxed again, repeating that, though overall it was okay. lol The day before the appointment, they sent another text notice about no-show prevention, the hospital location, the time, etc. They also sent a link asking me to fill out a medical questionnaire in advance, which I did, but when I visited, they had me write it by hand once more (then why did they take it through the link? lol) Anyway, after I arrived and filled out my personal information, they quickly had me go take a CT scan first, so I took the CT scan right away. As expected of a large hospital, everything moved smoothly, like flipping through chapters, and without waiting that long, I was assigned a consultant and called in. The consultant was Manager ㅈㅎㅅ, and she was very pretty, doll-like, and kind. I had made the appointment with a designated director; for the nose, I had designated Director ㅇㅈㅎ, and I did not designate anyone for the eyes, but they matched me with Director ㅅㅊㅎ haha. Going back, Manager ㅈㅎㅅ first briefly looked at my questionnaire and asked about my desired surgery schedule, and we lightly went back and forth with questions and answers about why I was considering revision surgery. I was so nervous that I had been about to tell all the stories I had prepared, but Director ㅇㅈㅎ was just about to go into surgery, so she quickly connected me to the director consultation first, saying I should hurry and go see the director first and that she would listen to my story again afterward lol. So I met the director. On YouTube, he had the vibe of a smiling angel who smiled a lot, but maybe because I only went after seeing that smiling image? His eyes without a smile felt a little cold, and in real life he looked really exhausted......... lol His way of speaking is warm though lol... Maybe because I watched too much YouTube, I was the only one feeling familiar and glad to see him... lol Anyway, it absolutely was not that he was unkind, and he checked the CT too and explained things well. He looked at the photos I prepared and checked them carefully, and when I asked whatever I was curious about, he answered kindly enough haha. Things related to surgery were OK; casual small talk felt like never? lol Anyway, after that I went into the next consultation with Director ㅅㅊㅎ, and he showed me the surgical method and the line well, including how it would be good if it turned out. He was kind and had a warm feeling, so he made the consultation comfortable, and since it was my second director consultation, I guess I felt a bit less burdened than the first one. lol After finishing all the director consultations, I was out in the lobby, and Manager ㅈㅎㅅ came to take me back to the consultation room. She asked whether the consultations with the directors went well, asked about my concerns thoroughly and listened to me, and gave me a good estimate including the review discount at the event price. Since I would be using autologous costal cartilage, she also showed me scar examples in advance and explained them, and there was no pressure to reserve, so it was really nice until the end. haha Because I was hesitating due to my schedule, I said I would contact them, and she ended the consultation and even gave me her business card. It was a very good experience, but for some reason I’m still thinking a bit more about surgery, so I haven’t replied yet. There was no consultation fee haha.
I think it would be okay for everyone to go. It seemed trustworthy because the system was well organized, but I’m going to think about it a bit more.
