It's hard because each clinic's pros and cons are so clear. Here's roughly my review after visiting five well-known places: ㅂㅌㄹㅇ, ㅅㅍㄹㅅ, ㅇㅇㄹ, ㅇㅇㅌ, and ㅁㅇㅍ.
1. ㅂㅌㄹㅇ
-The atmosphere is friendly and nice. The front desk staff are kind too.
-Radiofrequency twice at 2-week intervals, unlimited swelling care + compression band, VAT included 770,000 won (per area)
-Stitches O, removed after 5 days
-Tape removed the same day to 1 day later
-They were honest and recommended only the areas that seemed necessary. When I said I wanted to do the double chin, they advised against it, saying the effect wouldn't be worth the price.
-I was surprised because it didn't feel commercial at all.
-The director was kind and gentle.
-Two incisions under the chin. (Possibility of scarring)
-Provisional reservation fee 100% refundable
-Expensive compared to other clinics.
2. ㅅㅍㄹㅅ
*Warm and gentle atmosphere. There were many people, but one staff member was assigned to each guest, so it didn't feel chaotic.
*The manager, director, and even the front desk staff were all kind like family. In particular, the manager recommended only exactly what was needed. (Jawline + square jaw Botox)
*The tape applied under the neck is removed after 1 day, no stitches, and the compression band is 50,000 won, but they said I could use one I already have at home.
*When I said I'm the type whose body scars easily, they said they would really need to perform the procedure carefully.
*They said we'd observe after surgery before deciding on lifting or any other additional procedures.
*Because it was an event price, no aftercare - in another sense, maybe that means they're that confident..
*Slight pressure to book - they said if I booked that day, there would be benefits for the compression band and anesthesia fee.
*The director didn't say much directly about my face.
3. ㅇㅇㄹ
*Somewhat small-feeling. Single-doctor clinic
*Clean interior. Easy-to-find location.
*The staff were a bit blunt. One of the front desk staff was wearing a lifting band, maybe because she had surgery. The director seemed close with the staff and called an employee by name.
*Someone going home after surgery had little facial swelling, so that wasn't bad.
*The manager was okay and had a straightforward style.
*The price was the cheapest.
*Aftercare was good. (I wasn't thinking of doing lifting, so after they recommended it,,,,, I don't remember very well,,)
*Relatively many recommendations (Mint threads 4 lines + double chin + jawline because it could sag later)
*Even though I had an appointment, because it's a single-doctor clinic and the director was doing surgery and consultations, I waited about 1 hour. I had another schedule, so I couldn't see the director and went straight to ㅇㅇㅌ.
4. ㅇㅇㅌ
*The largest scale. The skin building and surgery building are separate, so it can be confusing.
*The interior is very eco-friendly. There's a pond in the waiting room where you can do a hand scrub and wash your hands, and the open-style single-person waiting room has a two-person sofa and a leg massager. (About 4 blocks)
*The manager's experience and confidence showed. She recommended areas that seemed necessary but said the choice was up to me. (Double chin + jawline + deep cheek fat)
*CT scan fee is free, and you can see where fat and muscle are on your face.
*The director spoke calmly and well. It was impressive that as soon as he came in, he said, 'Thank you for coming.' Looking at the CT scan, he told me what the thickness was and how much would be removed.
*The deposit is 100,000 won, but if you contact them at least 3 days before surgery, they refund 90,000 won.
*I don't know if I'm being sensitive;; but when it showed that I was hesitating to pay the deposit, the manager's expression subtly changed. - They said if I booked that day, they would provide swelling care twice.
5. ㅁㅇㅍ
-Small, modern-feeling interior. Maybe because it was a weekday, it was quiet and felt very comfortable.
-The front desk and manager were kind and bright, but just to the point where it didn't feel burdensome.
-They didn't explain things first until I asked, but when I asked, they answered each thing carefully.
-The fact that they only showed before-and-after side views to protect portrait rights made me feel they were considerate of patients.
-We chatted a lot, and they accepted it comfortably without showing any sign of annoyance. Relaxed and calm.
-Relatively affordable considering their recognition.
-The event price does not include aftercare.
-Stitches O, removed after 10 days
