3-Month Process After Bulbous Nose Surgery

Before<✔ Before surgery ✔>Before<✔ 1 week after surgery (before going to have the splint removed) ✔><✔ 2 weeks after surgery (swelling from between the eyebrows to the nasal tip was no joke) ✔><✔ 1 month after surgery (I could feel my nose gradually getting slimmer) ✔><✔ 3 months after surgery (the nasal tip came down a lot too, and it became much slimmer) ✔>I picked out a few photos from before surgery up to the 3-month mark and wrote this review because I hope my experience can be even a little helpful to everyone. My nostrils/alar base were really wide, so while other people were busy Photoshopping their noses higher, I was busy making my nostrils look smaller. Even with full makeup on, I felt like only my nostrils showed But I’m originally someone who worries a lot, a lot, so even though I wanted surgery, I kept putting it off because I was scared. Then I saw my ID photo (the pre-Photoshop photo haha), had a reality check, and I think I immediately went for consultations and went ahead with surgery really quickly. Even after surgery, the swelling was so severe that I kept contacting the clinic’s manager every few days, and whenever I went to the clinic for follow-ups, I whined to the director every time. I should’ve just waited quietly.. that’s what I think now.. It feels like I created one more embarrassing chapter in my life.. Still, I’m so relieved because I do think the before-and-after change is definitely quite big, and I’m also grateful to the director haha. Maybe it’s even more so because I had alar reduction done together too. In case it might affect anything even a little, I didn’t wear makeup until almost the 1-month mark. (At first I kept wanting to put on makeup, but after holding back and not doing it, I ended up not doing it.) I really followed every single precaution the clinic told me after surgery, including cold compresses and warm compresses, very carefully. Even up to 1-2 weeks after surgery, I worried a lot about whether the line would come out well, but as the swelling went down and I saw it settling into a straight-with-slight-curve line, I’ve been thinking I’m really relieved
