Before before before after after after Rhinoplasty surgery review at Objet Plastic Surgery
My nose was not particularly low, but I was concerned that its slightly upturned-looking structure made it look like an upturned nose. In fact, it was a pretty shape for a woman’s nose, but I thought I needed surgery to support the nasal tip in order to bring out a more masculine impression.
The place I entrusted the surgery to was Objet Plastic Surgery, and Dr. Lee Kyung-mook performed it. Through the consultation, we decided to proceed in a direction that minimized unnecessary procedures, naturally lowering the nasal tip while making the nose slightly longer.
What I was especially satisfied with during the consultation was that Dr. Lee Kyung-mook did not recommend excessive surgery and accurately pointed out the condition of my nose and the direction for improvement. He said donated costal cartilage could be used if needed, but in my case, he judged that septal cartilage and ear cartilage alone would be sufficient.
In particular, he focused on naturally lowering the nose that looked upturned while preserving a masculine impression. Also, since the method only corrected the nasal tip, I liked that I could expect a natural and harmonious result without an excessive change in height.
The surgery was performed using septal cartilage as the main material and ear cartilage as a supplementary material. I felt a lot of trust because the nasal tip could be supported stably without using donated costal cartilage.
Before surgery, I was very nervous, but the medical staff helped me prepare systematically, so I felt reassured. What I felt immediately after surgery was that the nasal tip had definitely come down and the upturned-nose feeling was gone. The swelling was somewhat hidden by the splint and tape, but I could already see the changed nose shape, so I felt good.
In the early period after surgery, I felt stuffy, but because there was no cotton in my nose, breathing was not extremely uncomfortable. About a week later, on the day the splint was removed, I could clearly feel the change in my nose. The nose that had looked upturned had come down stably and changed into a nose that gave a masculine and harmonious impression.
Also, the director carefully looked after me from immediately after surgery through follow-up observation, so I did not have major discomfort during the recovery process. I was told that the nose needs time to settle, so currently I am about 90% satisfied, and I think I will see an even more natural result as time passes.
I am truly grateful to Objet Plastic Surgery and Dr. Lee Kyung-mook. Without excessive procedures, only the necessary parts were corrected, and I was able to get a natural and satisfying result. Since my nose was not originally low and I simply resolved the issue of it looking upturned, I was able to make a big change without harming my existing impression.
I strongly recommend Objet Plastic Surgery to those who, like me, are considering rhinoplasty that is not excessive and looks natural!
