I had surgery there not long after Gangnam LK opened. It’s been about 5 years now, and the epicanthoplasty didn’t just end up uneven; they carved the inner corners of my eyes too far downward, so a groove formed there. Even when I went to other hospitals for revision consultations, they said it couldn’t be touched. Of course my double eyelids are uneven too, and my eyes became dull, and I still wonder whether the eye correction was even done properly.. I still have to use my forehead muscles to open my eyes, and if I don’t put force into my eyes, the double eyelid covers half of my pupil. I also have scar tissue at the inner corners of my eyes. They were kind, and because I came from Seoul, I paid a high price and trusted them, but.... I regret it.
