I will address the matter of "unnecessary procedures." An unnecessary procedure is a procedure that does not fit the purpose. Some clinics sometimes recommend unnecessary procedures for their own "economic benefit," even when they do not fit the purpose. We try not to become that kind of clinic. Therefore, if it is necessary for the patient, we also recommend lasers, surgery, and other options that are not performed at our clinic.
What is a necessary procedure? When a patient brings in a "problem," a procedure that can solve it is a "necessary" procedure.
If the patient does not bring in a "problem," there is no necessary procedure. When we recommend a procedure to solve a problem, our clinic recommends a method that can solve the patient's problem well, rather than basing it on our own economic benefit.
Sometimes, after patients receive a proposed solution from the clinic after consultation, they may think it over again and decide that it is not really that much of a "problem."
In other words, after receiving a proposed solution, they may decide that the current problem is not worth taking on the cost and risks.
If so, there is no need to necessarily undergo surgery or a procedure.
I try not to recommend unnecessary procedures or surgeries. In particular, I try not to recommend procedures for economic benefit. If I had recommended a procedure for my own benefit, I would have recommended a procedure at our clinic. I would not have recommended a procedure/surgery at another clinic.
What counts as an "unnecessary procedure" can vary depending on how much the patient wants to resolve their "problem." Even the same procedure/surgery becomes a "necessary procedure" if the patient really wants to solve the problem.
When considering cost, pain, and risk, if it is not a problem the patient wants to solve to that extent, it becomes an "unnecessary procedure."
At the clinic, when a patient brings in a "problem," we propose a solution. How much of a problem it is for the patient, and whether they truly want to solve it, depends on the patient's own feelings. Some problems are objectively clear, but in most cases, cosmetic procedures often depend on subjective feelings.
We try more than any other clinic to understand even what is in the patient's heart, but unless we meet often and talk over several months to several years, this is not easy.
