There’s no bulging fat under my eyes, just prominent tear troughs, and overall it looks sunken and hollow. I went for a consultation today, and they said I shouldn’t expect the kind of filled-in under-eye look I want (because there’s no fat to reposition). They said they would just release the tear troughs, and the area under the eyes above the troughs could actually look even more sunken, so I would need micro fat grafting. That’s what I was told before I left.
I was a bit flustered after realizing that what I had thought wasn’t the answer, but in a case like mine, is there even any point in getting under-eye fat repositioning? For eyes like mine, if they release the tear troughs and add micro fat grafting, would it still look better than now, or would there actually be any improvement? I’m wondering about it, and I’m curious if anyone has had the same experience as me..
