I am someone who had revision surgery five years ago.
It was a third-time rhinoplasty revision, using functional materials and dermis. I originally had a short nose, but after a previous surgery I became monkey-like with an excessively long nose. After deliberating, I decided to give the doctor I had known since my time at TL one last try.
I am extremely satisfied with the result. I think this may be the best line achievable for my facial proportions and bone structure.
Above all, breathing had become difficult after my previous surgery. Scar tissue had protruded inside my nose and could simply be touched with a finger, but the doctor cleanly removed that too, somehow. I could also feel that they tried to make my uneven nostrils as symmetrical as possible.
Now that I have gotten older, I wondered whether a slightly rounder nasal tip might suit me, so I recently returned for a consultation for the first time since surgery. I was pleased that they were still kind and thorough, with no unnecessary recommendations. I hope the doctor will still be practicing when I reach my forties.
