I've already finished the surgery, but I'm leaving consultation reviews for the sake of big data.
ㄱㄴ in Gangnam Time: Visited on a weekday morning (waited around 10 minutes) CT scan: Yes Consultation: Consultant > director > consultant, in that order (30-40 minutes) Nose materials: silicone + autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage + deviated nose correction + nostril base reduction Consultation details: The director was calm and explained things very well in a gentle, detailed way. They said my nose needed costal cartilage and that they considered the nasal tip shape more important than the bridge height. The director looked at the CT and said it wasn't severe, but my nose was somewhat deviated. Not to the extent of functional nose surgery x They recommended doing nose surgery while correcting the deviated nose a bit. The director recommended choosing between autologous costal cartilage and donated costal cartilage for the surgery, but the consultant recommended autologous costal cartilage. Rather than design-related talk, the director talked a lot about, kind of... nasal function? I felt they did not pursue a very glamorous style as much as I expected. One thing that was a bit disappointing was that the consultation felt like it continued smoothly only when I asked questions first. If you prepare several questions in advance, I think it will be a satisfying consultation. Still, the director kept asking until leaving whether I had anything else I was curious about. I felt it would have been better if I had prepared more thoroughly. They said they would accommodate the surgery date as much as possible. No pressure to book.
ㄹㅂㄹ in Sinnonhyeon Time: Visited on a weekday afternoon (waited around 15 minutes) CT scan: Yes Consultation: Consultant > director > consultant, in that order (40-45 minutes) Nose materials: silicone + costal cartilage + bulbous nose correction Consultation details: As soon as I went in, there were so many people that I thought this might be bad, but thankfully the wait wasn't that long. The director explained things well so I could understand, and was the type to clearly say unnecessary things really didn't need to be done. They said I didn't need nostril base reduction. They said raising the nasal tip with costal cartilage would improve the current bulbous-looking nose. Regarding the choice between autologous costal cartilage and donated costal cartilage, the director said the patient's opinion is most important and that they want to give the patient the choice first. They like glamorous noses. I think everyone here whose taste matches that would be a good fit. (Most of the noses I showed them were glamorous noses too lol) And one thing I felt was that after going to consultations at several places, because of the nature of plastic surgery clinics... I heard a lot of explanations that kind of put down my appearance?? But here, I remember they explained things while also talking about the strengths of my face, so I think I was able to hear the explanation without feeling bad at all. They also said they would accommodate the surgery date as much as possible. No pressure to book.
There are more places I went to besides these, but it's been a few weeks, so I only wrote down the places that I remember the most.
