I’m 2 weeks post-op after 2.5-type facial contouring + double-chin liposuction. The yellow bruising and major swelling have gone down to some extent, but my lips were severely swollen from the day of surgery. Now only my lower lip is still flipped outward and badly swollen, and it still hasn’t gone down, so it looks gross every time I look in the mirrorㅠㅠ But when I went in for my follow-up, the director said it was swelling and that it would definitely go down, so not to worry. I’m going to keep doing warm compresses and watch it subside! My swelling tends to go down later than other people’s, so I still have quite a bit of swelling, but I can already see that my cheekbones, square jaw, and front chin have become much smaller and slimmer, so I’m looking forward to it. Other than that, I’m satisfied because the surgery seems to have been done safely without scary(?) facial-contouring side effects.
