BeforeAt this hospital, after my first surgery with the buried-suture method, signs that it would come undone started showing from 6 months, and it completely came undone after 8 months, so I had revision surgery. Originally, my left side had weaker opening strength, so when I was tired, that eye would close more, and I think that may have been the cause. Even at the initial consultation, they first mentioned the amount of pupil exposure and recommended incisional ptosis correction, but since it was my first surgery, I felt burdened and only proceeded with the buried-suture method. After that, I had some minor dissatisfactions such as shape asymmetry, but I thought the revision surgery would be in the sense of after-service repair, so they would supplement things better and do it well. I proceeded at the same place with the method they recommended, but the fixation on the left is deep, and the shape improvement I mentioned beforehand was not improved at all. Rather, it became worse. Because the fixation on the left is deep, it is easy to open, but it feels like only that side opens wide, and now the right side feels like it opens less, like my left eye used to. Right after the first surgery, I had severe multiple creases on both sides, and even on the right, the eye opened less while the left instead opened wide, with mild Hering’s phenomenon. As the swelling went down, that part disappeared, but unlike before, the right upper eyelid feels pressed down and uncomfortable to open.. It feels exactly the same as when the buried-suture surgery on my left eye came undone, and the same symptoms are appearing even more severely. At that hospital, they did not remove fat at all, so they see this symptom as an issue caused by insufficient fat, but as the person concerned, I have nothing to say, really. Because it was an eye that had no problem at all! I guess I should stop here ^^
