Before <before surgery> After <this photo is from one week after surgery> My eyes are long horizontally, but they had a very typical monolid look, so I had surgery at a clinic with an incisional double eyelid procedure + ptosis correction + medial epicanthoplasty on my left eye! My eye-opening strength was weak too, and especially my left eye felt a bit closed off, so I got medial epicanthoplasty done together as well lol Even I thought that if my eyes suddenly became too flashy overnight... it wouldn’t suit my image and would look awkward, so I asked for a thin in-out line. The director kept shaping the line several times even right up until I went into the operating room on the day of surgery, checking what I thought about a line like this, whether I liked it, and saying it would suit me well, so I liked that.
Of course, the consultation with the director and consultant mattered too, but I chose this clinic because I liked that the AS period is 3 years and that the follow-up care is well organized. Honestly, it would be a lie to say I wasn’t worried about swelling from the incision, but at this level I think there’s hardly any bruising, and after the stitches were removed it does look slightly deep/defined, but not to the point where I can’t go about daily life, so I’m satisfied. At first, even my friends who used to say my eyes were long and charming for monolids are now saying surgery really does make a difference. Now they say I did well getting the surgery lol How does it look to everyone here?
