Before-before-after <after surgery> after-after My face area? size? is on the very small side, but my other features are relatively large, so I grew up hearing a lot that my facial features looked packed into my face. But if you only hear that, it sounds like a really good thing, right,,? It wasn't simply like that,, It would have been fine if only my eyes and lips were big, but my nose was big too ㅇㅅㅇ;; I had both what people commonly call a bulbous nose + a hump nose.
When I was younger, I just covered it up with nose contouring,, But I'm not very good at contouring either;; and there were major limits to that too. Since it's makeup in the first place, when I had a bare face, my big nose showed exactly as it was, so when I went out without makeup, I had so little confidence that I think I lived always wearing a hat or busy trying to cover my face. On one hand I felt it was unfair, and on the other hand I hated wasting my life like this, so whether it was a procedure or plastic surgery, I wanted to definitely fix this part.
But people around me all tried to talk me out of procedures,, They said fillers can't be permanent, so I also looked into nose surgery, and since I have many friends around me who have had plastic surgery, I learned various pieces of information: 1. Avoid factory-style clinics 2. Find a customized doctor who listens well and reflects my opinions 3. Go somewhere with good reviews 4. Go somewhere that is good at a variety of designs.
The last one is something I felt after looking at several clinics: some places seemed to only do flashy results, and others seemed to only do natural results. The place where I had surgery is good at both natural/flashy styles according to the patient's preference, so it was better to talk during the consultation. The doctor said that rather than suddenly raising my nose too dramatically, we should focus the design first on smoothing the hump on my nasal dorsum and correcting the bulbous nose, so I think the communication went well.
For the nose materials, I had silicone placed in the nasal bridge, and ear cartilage was used for the nasal tip! I also had correction of the bulbous nose and hump nose together. After surgery, what I really felt changed the most was my nasal dorsum too, but friends around me said the bulbous nose had really changed a lot and that it was amazing. Since the impression the nose gives when you look at the face is definitely significant, if everyone is very stressed because of their nose, I hope you carefully visit clinics like I did and decide whether to go through with surgery, so I'm posting my review haha
