Breast surgery review!!

It’s embarrassing, but before surgery I had so little confidence in my breasts that I seriously didn’t own even one pretty bra, so I didn’t think to take photos... lolㅠ So I brought a photo where my base tissue is at least(?) visible...

<Pre-surgery TMI>

I’d had such a complex about my breasts ever since I was young...

I like fitted clothes + slightly revealing spaghetti-strap dresses, but my breasts were honestly almost nonexistent, so because of cleavage issues, I can count on one hand the number of times I wore spaghetti straps...

So after worrying about it, I thought, should I just get a consultation first? But after actually touching the implants and trying them in to gauge the size over clothes, I really wanted to do it.

Since I’d been thinking about it for a while, I did know the implant types, but instead of just going with what I vaguely thought was good because it was expensive, they also recommended what fit my taste and body type, so I decided on Mentor Boost!

<Surgery>

Mentor Boost (I think 310 on the left, 330 on the right)

Inframammary incision: I was debating between that and transaxillary, but I wanted to wear sleeveless tops right away + the armpit somehow felt a bit scary, so I did the inframammary incision!

<Pain right after surgery>

When I first woke up, it hurt a bit...ㅠ So I got some painkillers, rested for about 3 more hours, then went home, took medicine, and slept. I think the pain lasted until about day 3.

And the first thought I had when the anesthesia wore off was that my breasts had become heavy. It was so fascinating.

<Post-op care: home>

It was summer then, so I worried a lot about things like aftercare, but since I stayed home and used the air conditioner, I think it was actually okay.

For almost a month, I didn’t lift anything heavy at all, and since it was hot outside, I only walked around indoors.

It’s kind of funny, but lol walking really does seem to speed recovery, right??

I was worried about the inframammary incision scar too, but after a few weeks had passed (you shouldn’t apply it right away before the wound heals after surgery; I waited about 4 weeks as written in the instructions), I applied ointment every day, and the early effect was seriously dramatic.

Now, about 5 months later, you can’t see it at all when I’m standing. Even if you look closely, it’s just slightly darker than skin tone!

I followed the instructions for wearing the compression bra and aftercare, and it was good because everything was detailed by time period.

But since I’m a scaredy-cat, I did wear the compression bra a bit longer than the recommended period lol

<Post-op care: clinic>

I had ultrasound checks every month, and for care I received CAPS and laser treatment.

CAPS is really fascinating. At first my breasts felt heavy and sometimes kind of tight? But every time I received it, I could feel them getting softer... It’s really fascinating...

It’s now been 5 months and I’m almost at 6 months, and I’m already fully satisfied, but it turned out so naturally and well that sometimes I get greedy and think I should have gone bigger lololㅠ

But thinking 10 or 20 years ahead, I feel like the current size is exactly right, so I’m satisfied!!

If anyone here is considering it, I hope this helps even a little!! If you have any other questions, leave a comment or send me a message!
