Hehehe, before-before-before. I originally did have double eyelids. But as I got older, I guess? the lines on both sides started becoming different, fainter.. and when I was tired, I would get multiple creases, and on one side the line would basically disappear…
I really did quite a lot of consultation legwork and went to 6 places, but they all had different opinions.. 2 places didn’t recommend it, and people around me also had a lot of opinions like, “How about just living with it as is?”…. I realized this while going to consultations, but they said creating a new line is a harder surgery than I expected..
From then on, I kept asking around for places that are good with difficult eyes,, extreme cases, and went around for consultations again until I finally found a place I liked and got it done… They recommended an incisional method, and I also didn’t really think buried sutures or a natural style were right for me from the start. During the consultation, they held several different lines for me while explaining, but since I’m not exactly the super detail-oriented type, I said I wasn’t sure, so they kept explaining so I could see the feel of it too. I really felt during the consultation that even one double eyelid surgery has so many details..
So anyway, the conclusion is that I think my eyes became what I originally wanted: somehow more open, clearer-looking, and a bit more natural-looking when I smile, so I’m quite satisfied. (I did lower lateral canthoplasty together too.)
It was so hard to get all the way here with such a scaredy-cat mentality, but looking only at the result, it succeeded, so even I think I look different… I hope everyone also searches well and succeeds..!!!
