For double eyelids, choosing the clinic is seriously so important. It is such an obvious thing to say, but sigh, I only realized it after getting it done.
I had non-incisional + natural adhesion double eyelid surgery one week ago. I went to four places, then for the final two places I had consultations twice each and thought about it for four more months. At one place, the doctor seemed to have a good aesthetic sense and gave a very thorough consultation, but the nurse who had surgery there had a pretty double eyelid line, though it looked a bit obviously done to anyone. At the other place, the consultation was quick, and their aesthetic sense was that they do not look at the eyes as part of the whole face but look at the eyes separately, but the nurses who had surgery there looked really, really natural.
After worrying so much, I chose the more natural-looking side. But after getting it done, the clinic's attitude before and after surgery felt a bit different. And now that I have done it, naturalness is good, but I think how pretty the line is really matters ㅜㅜ The shape of the eyes is what matters, but I think I was completely blinded by wanting it to look natural.... Before, I used to think, 'Why does everyone get double eyelid revision surgery?' Now I understand.
Sigh... choosing a clinic means choosing the doctor's aesthetic standards. Everyone, please remember this...
