I had nostril reduction 6 weeks ago. A depressed scar formed, and it is really driving me crazy. Can a depressed scar like this also fade?? It is deeper and darker than in the photo, but the photo cannot capture it any better than this. I am diligently applying scar ointment now, but it is not improving. Will it fade like magic once it reaches 3 months? At the hospital where I had it done, they say the skin around the area where the scalpel was used is swollen, and that over time the swollen surrounding skin will settle down. Can I trust this????
