The problem happened on the surgery day. After all the tests, right before surgery, they put eye drops in your eyes (for anesthesia).
When they go in, your eyes feel a little dry and stiff, and it feels like local anesthesia is taking effect. The left side went in well, and when they were putting it in the right side, the nurse administering the drops seemed to be in training, and a nurse who looked more experienced was coaching from beside her??
Training in front of the patient...? And in the end, it didn’t go in well. I said I didn’t think it went into the right eye properly, but they said it went in well, so inside I was like, huh... I don’t think so... but since they’re professionals, I figured they must be right and went straight to the operating table.
During surgery, I kept staring at a dot-like thing and they were cutting(?) and it hurt sooo much... But they had told me not to speak during surgery and to stay still, so I just kept groaning because it hurt, and during the surgery they said why can’t you tolerate it, it isn’t painful at all, why are you acting like that... But I couldn’t speak... My hands were sweating so much, and after it was over I told them the anesthesia hadn’t fully worked...
Then they said I should have said something during surgeryㅋㅋㅋ When, when they told me not to talk...? In the end, the surgery finished well!
My left eye went from about 0.2 to 1.0, and my right eye went from 0.1 to 1.0. I think the director’s skill is really good... But I wish they wouldn’t train in front of patients and would listen to patients a bit better...
