Even though I had monolids, I used to get stressed about crease lines that kept forming and under-eye dark circles, so I paid for it myself and flexed by doing natural adhesion, under-eye fat repositioning, and canthoplasty all at once! Since it’s hard to take a long vacation while working, I figured I’d swell all at once and recover all at once, so I got double eyelid surgery and under-eye fat repositioning together! From roughly browsing around, I’ve seen posts these days from people debating whether to do them together or not. If you’re like me and are stressed about both dark circles and your eyes, and are considering both, I personally recommend doing them together!! After surgery, until day 3 your eyes are swollen above and below, so you have to live with plump macarons attached to your eyes, but after about a week, once the major swelling goes down, the recovery speed is similar, so managing it was more convenientㅎㅎㅎㅎ
And the absolute way to reduce swelling = walks! (Highly recommended b) I just pulled my hat down low and went out 3 or 4 times a day, making sure to walk for about 10 to 30 minutes! Even though I did natural adhesion, I also had canthoplasty and under-eye fat repositioning, so I did have some swelling. The major swelling lasted about a week?? (Until day 3, it feels like the swelling keeps increasing, so you need to keep using compresses ㅠ^ㅠ) By week 2, it was to the point that daily life was no problem? I was okay meeting people to some extent! Once the swelling I was most worried about disappeared, I kept admiring how my eyes changed after double eyelid surgery, and I’m very satisfied!
