Until just a few days ago, it still looked like she had only recently had surgery, but now she looks like a completely different person again haha
My mom.. originally had natural double eyelids, but I guess time really can’t be hidden, because her eyelids gradually started drooping ㅠㅠ Because of that, her field of vision was blocked a lot too ㅠㅠ At first, I jokingly brushed it off saying it was because she was getting older, but I worried those words might hurt her, so I said, “Mom, then do you want to go for a consultation?” and we went. It made me realize she had been worrying about it this much. Thinking I might as well do something nice for her this time, I told her, “I’ll do this for you as filial piety, go ahead and get it,” and seeing that she wanted it even though she said surgery and procedures were scary made me think, my mom is a woman too hehe
When you look at the before surgery -> after surgery photos, doesn’t the upper part of her eyes look nicely cleaned up?? Since she got it done at middle age and had an incisional method, honestly I was worried about side effects and swelling, you know? But unlike those worries, now her swelling went down quickly and the line settled naturally haha
My mom worried a lot at first too, but now she says she feels good every time she looks in the mirror haha She said she loves hearing from neighborhood aunties every time she meets them that she did such a good job haha Anyway, I think it was a surgery that both my mom and I were really satisfied with haha
