Before/AfterI had under-eye fat repositioning 12 years ago and it recurred, so I kept only thinking that I should get revision surgery. Now that I’m on parental leave and taking a break, I looked into clinics and finally got it done! I used to think of under-eye fat repositioning as a simple surgery, but when I think about my eyes, I don’t think that’s the case. Still, these days the techniques for under-eye fat repositioning have improved a lot, so the chance of recurrence like mine is probably low. Since I was doing it, I also got lateral lower canthoplasty, and I’m glad I did it. I’m satisfied now. I didn’t get fat grafting under the eyes, and right after surgery I was startled because one eye looked tilted, but it went back not long after. According to the director’s explanation, it can happen temporarily due to the effect of local anesthesia. They explained it well, so I felt reassured. Also, I thought lateral lower canthoplasty would hurt a lot, but although I had some bruising, it hurt less than I expected, so I was surprised. I think I did well getting the surgery before returning to work!
