Breast Surgery Reviews@breast-review

One-month breast augmentation story, warning that it may be stream-of-consciousness..~~

Reason I decided on surgery -I’ve always been naturally thin, and my breasts were practically flat. Especially my upper breasts were really, really nonexistent, so sometimes when I looked only at my upper body, it felt a bit off.. My pelvis is still on the wider side, but since I had no breasts at all, there was slight imbalance too.. I decided on surgery with 50% wanting to balance my body and 50% wanting to fix a complex.

Choosing the hospital -While looking into breast surgery, I especially researched side effects a lot. But since side effects are something you don’t know when they’ll happen, if I had surgery assuming the possibility was zero, it felt like the risk would be entirely mine. So I looked for a hospital that would keep all possibilities open and take on that risk with me! For that, first, the A/S would need to be lifelong; it would need to be a hospital that performs surgery safely enough to show the full CCTV footage from the day of surgery; postoperative care and progress checks would need to be well organized; and it would need a system where annual ultrasound checkups are all possible. I think that’s how I gradually made my checklist. There were detailed points I didn’t write here too, but these were the major ones, and I had surgery at a hospital that satisfied all of them!

Pain -I don’t know if I was lucky, but I didn’t hurt much.. Honestly, if I’m being precise, it did hurt on the day. But it wasn’t like I was in pain all day feeling like I’d die; as the anesthesia wore off, the discomfort gradually came up, then after I slept once like I passed out, I felt okay.. It was basically almost painless. The hospital also said I seemed to have good stamina lol

Recovery -I was cautioned not to use my arms, but moving my body was much easier than expected, so I think I just lived as usual. I didn’t do what they told me not to do (like raising my arms high), but I ate as usual, went out to meet people as usual, and even went out to buy ice cream. Instead, I cut out both coffee and alcohol, and getting up from lying down was a bit hard, so I spent most of my time sitting on the sofa. I think I could handle most daily activities like washing, brushing my teeth, eating, and getting dressed by day 3.

Feel -It’s still on the firm side. The swelling hasn’t fully gone down either, and when I recently went for a care/progress check, the manager also told me to diligently wear the upper band of the compression bra hehe

Satisfaction -I definitely feel satisfaction just from having something where there was nothing before. And I think the shape is fairly natural too… You know the shape people think of when they say surgically augmented breasts; there’s none of that at all, and it seems to fit my body proportions, so I’m satisfied with the surgical result. They also take good care of all the management, and the hospital is so attentive to my breasts, even more than I am(?), that there isn’t much for me to worry about.. If only the scar and feel improve from now on, I don’t think I could ask for more!

Hard parts -Having to visit the hospital more often than expected until one month after surgery. And not being able to roll around and sleep however I want (the worse your sleeping habits, the harder it is..?) Not being able to lie face down and use my phone. There’s a subtle sense of weight that stays on my body, and honestly it takes some getting used to until you adapt. lol Also, my skin gets unexpectedly dry, and wearing the upper band compression bra on top of that makes it itchy and uncomfortable ㅠ Those things are hard. It’s a relief it’s cold now; if it were summer, it would’ve been harder.

Still, I honestly haven’t regretted the surgery for even a single day. Even when I go around wearing just nipple patches and a tight T-shirt, everyone says my figure looks so good and so pretty, so it feels nice and my confidence has gone up hehe. Recently I also had a lot of opportunities to be introduced to men, so I went here and there, and everyone asked if I was a Pilates instructor. They said my body looked like someone who works out ㅋㅋㅋ I do work out, but ㅋㅋㅋ before surgery I had never heard that at all.. That boosted my confidence again and my satisfaction went way up lol. Maybe these small joys are why everyone gets cosmetic surgery. I’m one of them too hehe

Oh, and lastly, the surgery information is -Rib cage 70, breast pocket 12, Motiva full type 335cc, inframammary incision / Director Oh Jaewon at ㄱㄹ

That’s it! If you’re additionally curious about anything, you can message me or leave a comment!! I don’t come often, but if I check when I come, I’ll leave a reply hehe. Thanks for reading. I hope everyone looking into surgery gets satisfying results!!~~
