Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Noh Jong-hoon community review

I went for a consultation because it matched my selection criteria, such as being a single-doctor clinic, having CCTV, and an anesthesiologist on site.

When I told the director my concerns, he put something like a stick against my face and showed me, saying this is how it would look if I had surgery. For example, if I said I was concerned about the length, he said it would look like this if it were shaved down; if I said it seemed to protrude forward, he said it would look like this if moved backward, that kind of thing.

It was a bit flustering. It felt like talking to a robot. What I wanted was the doctor’s perspective and opinion, like “to get what you want, we need to do this” or “you shouldn’t do this,” so I was disappointed that the consultation was passive..

The consultant did not pressure me and was kind.

In the end, I did it somewhere else ㅠ
