I went for a consultation for my first rhinoplasty, and since it’s a clinic with one director, there wasn’t the same hectic feeling as at a large hospital. The wait wasn’t long, and I had a consultation with the consultant. Since my nose is low, short, and small, they first expected silicone, ear cartilage, and donated costal cartilage and explained things to me, then I met the director. The director was calm and kindly explained things, and also said that because my nose is bulbous, short, and low, it seemed like silicone, ear cartilage, and donated costal cartilage would need to be used. Since it would be my first surgery, I first listened to all the consultation details, asked the parts I was curious about, and then left. They answered my questions in detail as well. I’m still thinking about it now.
