Honestly, after rhinoplasty, early on my nose looked like a foreigner’s nose, a Pinocchio nose, too high, too excessive, swollen, and so on.
I remember disliking every single thing, so from one week after rhinoplasty I was already looking into revision surgery clinics and reading posts here and there...
I kept looking around like that and had decided I would get revision surgery from the 6-month mark, but now it has been a little over 2 months and 1 week, and the nose shape has gradually changed into the natural shape I wanted. At the 1-month mark, I thought the shape had settled and that this was my nose now, so I spent time feeling discouraged and planning revision surgery.
As time passed, the subtle residual swelling gradually went down, and I actually liked the line and shape more. (The nasal height naturally lowers. The nasal tip naturally lowers. The nasal tip shape gradually becomes slimmer, and the nasal bridge gradually becomes slimmer!!!)
I think it is true that swelling between the eyebrows and at the nasal tip goes down the slowest.
What is really certain is that if you are one month post-op and dissatisfied with the shape, you do not need to worry too much.
At least for me, I think it starts from the 2-month mark. Residual swelling also makes a difference in the shape and line.
I also went through the hardship of being so worried after rhinoplasty at day 7, week 2, week 3, and month 1, looking into revision surgery clinics... so I am leaving this review in case there are people like me.!
Excluding inflammation symptoms!!! For the nose shape, I think at least 3 months is right!! I say this because I personally felt and experienced how very different it becomes!
